The new year didn’t go off to a good start with the pioneer of buy and sell marketplace in the Philippines. The number of visitors month vs month for Buy and Sell Philippines was down to below 40,000 page views. However this was expected due to the seasonality of the business, coming from the busy holiday season.

In terms of engagement total visits decreased by 9.60% to less than 40,000. Average viait duration was 1 minute 50 seconds with an average of 1.93 pages per visit. Bounce rate was 69.84%
Traffic by Country
Majority of visits came from the Philippines at 79.52% followed by those from United States and Canada.
In terms of traffic sources, more than half of visits came from search (64.95%) followed by direct (40.57%). Only 1.74% of traffic came from social.
More than half of this social traffic is from Facebook (62.10%) followed by Youtube (37.90%).
Overall, the dip in traffic for Buy and Sell Philippines was expected coming in from the December holiday traffic. It is also notable that the increase in traffic experienced in the first half of 2020 do to the COVID pandemic is normalizing as the country reopens brick and mortar retail and wholesale establishments. Traffic is expected to increase with the seasonality of classified ads business in the next few months.
